BRIDGE is an initiative of the European Commission aiming to bring together various smart grid, energy storage, island, and digitalization projects under Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe. It focuses on addressing cross-cutting issues and facilitating knowledge sharing among projects to deliver recommendations for future exploitation of project results. SiC4GRID will participate to the initiative via three of the Working Groups:
- Data management
- Business models
- Regulations

The Key Digital Technologies Joint Undertaking (KDT JU) - successor to ECSEL JU - is a EU-driven, public-private partnership, funding innovation in electronic components and systems. It is the successor to the ECSEL JU program and supports its ongoing projects. Through the KDT JU, European industry, SMEs and RTOs are supported and co-financed by the KDT Participating States and the European Union.
